Because the Davis Foundation has a very specific geographic focus (Hampden County, Massachusetts), potential applicants are strongly encouraged to carefully review the information on this website prior to submitting a request for funding.

An initial Letter of Intent is required to determine the interest and appropriateness of a full proposal. (Please note deadlines listed below) The staff of the Foundation is available to discuss prospective proposal ideas, assist potential applicants during the application process, and answer questions. Once it is determined that an application is eligible for consideration, please submit One unbound, stapled complete set of the following:

• Application Form
• 3-5 Page proposal narrative describing need & project & personnel required
• Project budget details
• Copy of most recent audit (or Form 990 if no audited financials available)
• Operating budget of organization
• IRS 501© 3 determination letter
• Names and affiliations of governing board

General Grantmaking Submission Schedule:
