Funding Process:
Eligibility

Organizations whose work directly benefits individuals living in Hampden County and aligns with the Foundation’s funding areas may be eligible to apply. Applicants are encouraged to review the eligibility criteria and complete the self-assessment before applying.

The Foundation funds research and policy organizations when the work has a direct impact on Hampden County and includes clear goals and outcome measures related to the funding areas.

While most funded organizations are based in Hampden County, the Foundation may support organizations headquartered elsewhere if their work directly benefits Hampden County residents.

Rarely. Organizations generally must have a fiscal sponsor and at least one year of financial reporting.
Funding Process

Organizations new to the Foundation or requesting a significant increase in funding must submit a one-page LOI before being invited to apply.

There is no official word limit, but brevity is encouraged. Applicants should focus on clear descriptions and provide impact data whenever possible.
For Grantees

Funded organizations are asked to submit a brief overview approximately ten months after funding is awarded, outlining progress, outcomes, challenges, and any significant changes.

Funded organizations should contact info@davisfdn.org for approval before using the Foundation’s name or logo in promotional, press, or social media materials.
